Hello, I’m Terri McCartney,

I have always been in love with the mystery of life. For the past 40 years, astrology has been both my compass and my joy, guiding me and the many souls I’ve had the privilege to support. But long before I became a professional astrologer, I was simply a seeker: a woman who kept listening to the whisper that said there is more to life than meets the eye.

My path has been anything but straight. I’ve known heartbreak, loss, and those seasons when everything I thought I could count on fell away. But I’ve also known breathtaking moments of grace, synchronicity, and the fierce beauty that rises when the soul refuses to stay small. It is from this tapestry that The Dance of Becoming was born — my first book, and the beginning of a much larger vision.

I wrote it as a field guide for the unmarked trails we all walk — those moments when life unravels and we wonder how to keep going. It is part memoir, part medicine bundle, woven with rituals, mantras, music, and cosmic insights gathered from my decades working with the stars. My hope is that it feels like a companion walking beside you, reminding you that you are never alone.

And yes, the dance continues. Astrology remains my beloved craft, and my next book in this series will be dedicated fully to supporting others in benefiting from the archetypal energies expressing through the cosmos. You’ll also find me sharing astrology-themed blogs here — offerings to help you navigate these times of great change with both clarity and heart.

Mostly, though, I hope this space feels like an invitation: to laugh, cry, wonder, and remember yourself as part of a greater dance. Because no matter what we’ve been through, the music is always playing, inviting us to join the dance.

I write, I wonder, I dance — not because the way is easy, but because my soul knows the dance of becoming is always worth it. May you know that fulfillment too!
